Our operations are centered in the Wild Mustang Federal Unit, an area rich in history and wildlife, including grazing cattle, elk, antelope, and wild mustangs. Drawing inspiration from the nearby Lost Soldier oilfield, located 15 miles southeast of our discovery well, this field is one of Wyoming’s oldest and has produced over 400 million barrels of oil since its discovery. Today, it continues to produce over 1 million barrels per year. We leverage the area’s proven geology to unlock its vast potential, using custom-built drilling rigs and skilled crews to ensure efficient, cost-effective resource extraction while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.

The “Lost Soldier District” in Wyoming was named after two soldiers who vanished in the snow while searching for a hidden whiskey distillery, leaving only one to return. First 20-25 wells are projected to produce 400 Mmcf/d and fill the Contango pipeline, generating ~$201 million for Lost Soldier when online. Targeted production by 2030 is 2.9 Bcf/d.
Founder & CEO, Marc Bruner, was at the forefront of developing the 49 TCF Jonah and Pinedale fields 100 miles west. The discovery is the life work of Geologist Mike Pinnell beginning in the mid-1970s. The President, Steve Richards, is also an expert in the region’s resources. He is a 37-year Schlumberger veteran, part of his career was spent evaluating and designing ultra-efficient well completions at the Jonah and Pinedale fields.
A Contango 400 Mmcf/d dry gas pipeline is only 5 miles from the discovery well. It connects to a major gas hub at Wamsutter 40 miles south. A 200 KW power line crosses company lands as do additional oil and CO2 pipelines.
Location: Bison Basin central Wyoming, two major hubs can ship natural gas both East and West. Thousands of wells surround the Bison Basin resulting in a deep expert labor pool, extensive infrastructure and predictable geology.

Central Wyoming, North of Rawlins, the Bison Basin a sub basin of the Prolific Green River Basin. The company’s lands consist of 56 leases totaling 24,000 acres that are within its Wild Mustang Federal unit together in excess of 12,000 acres of leases outside the unit, in addition to a 250,000 acre AMI.
The Bison Basin was never affected by the region’s tectonic events, consequently its formations remain undisturbed just as they were 50 million or more years ago. During the intervening years, thousands of erosional debris settled on top of the basin adding to the near record over pressured gas zones drilling has encountered.
The surrounding uplifted formations and the wells producing from them provided us with a wealth of geological data which together with more than 200 miles of seismic, has indicated that a giant gas discovery is located here. This data also continues to point to the potential for additional discoveries as we drill deeper in the Bison Basin.
Discoveries in four formations: the Lance, Shannon 1, 2, 3, and 5, which are estimated to contain 6 TCF GIP. The fifth deepest formation, the Shannon 10 contains natural gas and liquids. Because of the extreme pressures, only the top of Shannon 10 formation was drilled leaving almost 1,000 feet to be tested, not including five deeper formations, the Shannon 10 and Niobrara may double the current GIP estimate.
